Guest Post- Review of Melbourne Blind Company

Recently I had some work done by Melbourne Blind Company and could not be more satisfied. I want to give them a good review to let you all know how happy I am! I have been looking new blinds for ages, and I had a lot of trouble finding something that I liked because the top quality blinds are so expensive, but with Melbourne Blind Company I was able to find the quality and price that suited me, not to mention great service. Because we have some windows in the house that use external window shading and some use internal, so I had to look for varying shades to use in different parts of the house. I wanted to get rid of my outdated curtains as well.
There were heaps to choose from; roller glides, panel glides, romans, verticals, venetians, aluminums, shutters and blackouts. In the end I went for shutters in some parts of the house, which are external shades, and in other rooms I picked venetians in different colours depending on the colour scheme of the room they were in. I love venetians because you can control the amount of light they let in by adjusting the slant, or open the window completely by having them pulled all the way up. I'm so excited to finally have my new blinds installed in time for summer!

Guest Post-How to Educate Your Child Early

Every time that you have a free minute with your child, you have an opportunity to help them learn. From the moment they are born, your child is on a quest to learn everything they can about the world around them. What you are choosing to teach them is entirely up to you.
That does not mean that you have to drill them with flashcards nonstop or make them recite facts whenever you are in the car. Instead, you can use play to teach new information and lessons so that they are learning and having fun at the same time. There are so many different ways to do that, not only with common household objects and toys as well as with the specialized items.
A trip to the grocery store is one of the easiest ways to sneak in a little bit of learning. For instance, you can play a game of car color bingo- Jimmy looks for green cars, Susie looks for white ones and David is looking for red cars. Older kids could look for certain words on road signs or could even read each sign as they come to them. It keeps the kids occupied, they are learning and everyone is interacting with one another.
Once at the store the education can continue. Discuss the foods you are choosing with your children- ask about the color, texture or the type of food it is. Ask "is this a dairy food?" and other questions, for instance. Have the children compare two foods for length, width and weight, having them guess which will be biggest and then finding out whether they were right or wrong.
There are games you can play, even with simple household items. Use measuring cups in the bathtub to allow your child to learn about measuring and cause and effect. Let them tell you how many cups of water will fit in the little red bucket and then get the answer for themselves. There is no mess and the kids enjoy themselves while getting clean and smart at the same time!
Toys and games can be educational as well and the kids will never know they are learning anything new. It is a lot of fun to have a toddler ask for a blue shirt and then actually be able to show you which one is blue or to ask for his juice in a different language. When they learn through play, kids tend to pick up the information faster and retain it for much longer. Play is the easiest and best way for your child to learn and they will thrive on it. Help them get ahead in their life by providing a wide range of educational toys to supplement the other toys they have. Make sure that you are always relaxed and encouraging about the process or the children will stress out and no one will be having any fun at all. Let them first be children and the rest will fall into place.
