Guidelines/Disclosure

Effective date as of May 1st 2012 until Present Date.

If you have a product or service you would like to submit for potential review by Sharon Slays and interested in an honest product review or would like to sponsor a giveaway I am interested in all types of products and books for adults and children. I love to receive, test and share new products with everyone that will listen about great companies I believe in with my readers!

Please read the guidelines listed below and contact me if you have any questions! I’d be more than happy to consider your proposal.


Review Guidelines

I will only write my honest opinions, I will be clear about the product(s) you have provided, reviews may include but are not limited to:

*A description of the product and the company

*Experience with the product, positive or negative

*My opinions on the product

*Quality of the product

*Price of the product

*My experience with your company

*Links to product and company website

* Photos or video, either my own or those that your company can povide

* I will share the review to several networking sites and forums.

All products submitted MUST be appropriate for a family friendly website.

Please note that I can not review items based on photos, brochures, or websites — I have to actually use the products I review in order to give our readers our honest, opinion. Samples must be provided. Products supplied to me for the review must be full size, become the property of Sharon Slays and will not be returned. I do not pay for shipping on products. Personalized items must be personalized for Sharon Slays Product samples are not returned. I have the right to refuse a review/giveaway for any reason, at any time.

Giveaway Guidelines

 Sharon Slays is extremely excited to be a part of your giveaway opportunities. A review can also include a giveaway. Giveaways tend to draw more interest and potential customers! I do not send my product (that I received for review) as the giveaway prize. Products I received to review are mine to keep and another product must be provided to the winner of the giveaway. I do ask that all giveaway product be retained by the sponsor until the giveaway is over. I will work with you to customize the giveaway as you like. A typical Sharon Slays Giveaway requires reader to submit entries via Rafflecopter, then I select the winner with the help of Random.org. Once a winner has been selected, I will contact you with the shipping information of the winner so you may ship their prize directly to their door. Easy peeze punkin pie!!!


If you sponsor a giveaway as well as the review, the following guidelines apply:

1. A review according to the guidelines listed above

2. Additional promotion on networking sites and directories.

3. Prior to the start of the giveaway you must tell me if there are any restrictions on mailing the prize.

4. At the conclusion of the giveaway, I will submit the name and mailing address to you. You will be responsible for providing the prize directly to the winner.

5. Entry requirements may include visiting your company’s website, promoting the giveaway in some form (Twitter, Facebook, personal blog, etc.), becoming a fan of the company and anything else I deem appropriate. Please feel free to offer suggestions.

Additional Benefits

You may link to my review on your website to encourage customers to make a purchase.

You may use my photographs, provided you link back to my blog.

You may offer a discount coupon for use by all blog visitors. This will encourage consumers to visit your website and make a purchase.

Disclosure

  Sharon Slays review is solely an expression of my personal (and my children's and partners on occasion) views, thoughts, ideas, and concerns. I may review or giveaway a product on Sharon Slays when companies send products to review or offer a product for giveaway. I will note in the post what the company sent to me.



Monetary Compensation & Products

Monetary compensation may be received for the work that I do. When I review products, the products are not sent back to the company. There may be some posts that require monetary compensation, however I will always discuss this with the company beforehand and make note of it on the post.

If I were to ever receive monetary compensation for a blog post, I'll tell you, as well post a little note at the end of the blog post, according to FCC guidelines, of course.
